About the Author

Tania L. Ramos, RN, MSP

Born and raised in southern California, Tania L. Ramos is now deeply rooted in south east Tennesse where rural life pleases her hippie soul. Her stories explore grief, belonging, resilience, and the quiet darkness hidden behind ordinary lives. She blends emotionally thought provoking fiction with gothic undertones, her writing often encompasses wounded characters searching for connection, and labels her style as emotional humidity.

A registered nurse with an MS in psychology, Ramos brings emotional depth and human complexity to her storytelling. Her novels blend genres by combining layered relationships, haunting settings, and characters who must navigate a world of survival and healing.

Her debut novel, Be Still, is the recipient of two publishers awards and praised by Kirkus Reviews for, “its beautiful underlying theme,” and compared the story to the prose and world of What Dreams May Come. Her current work, out for query, The Edge of Unkindness, further explores emotionally atmospheric storytelling rooted in the American South.

When she’s not writing, Ramos can be found swinging a pink mallett named Darla, crafting her steampunk office, wrangling rescue cats, binge watching You’ve Got Mail far more often than socially acceptable, collecting journals she swears she’ll eventually write in, or detailing her mid-life crisis rally car. She is a lifelong lover of vintage Volkswagens and has owned several 60’s and 70’s era Beetles. Most importantly, she is a pampered Baroness of Sealand, which she emphatically defends, is in fact, “a real thing.”
